The Global Energy Safety Institute (GESI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Houston based training organization, has been in operation for over 5 years. We have successfully trained over 1,000 individuals in various energy safety related skill sets over this period. GESI offers industry a unique combination of experiences, having worked in government and academia for Oil & Gas Operators, EPC Companies, as well as Executive Search and HR.

Our Vision

The global natural gas market is robust and will be an energy source of choice for decades to come. Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is the fastest growing segment of the worldwide gas market for many reasons – it is abundant, economical, environmentally friendly and can be safely transported to any global destination.

With many LNG projects currently progressing towards Final Investment Decision (FID) or already underway, there is a recognized shortfall of LNG specific experience throughout industry, including safety. This lack of experience is now projected to extend beyond LNG and is anticipated to create manpower challenges throughout the Oil and Gas industry in the very near future.
